WEDDING.
BARTLETT—ILLSTO N. Yesterday a very pretty wedding took place at St. John the Baptist’s Hunterville, the Rev., T. Blackburns offiiciatiug. Mr Isaac Clarence Bartlett, of Paraekarotu, eldest son of Mr Wm. N. Bartlett, one of the oldest settlers in the district, was married to Miss Grace Illston, eldest daughter of Mr A. T. Illston, of Silverhope, fanner. The bride was given away by her father, and the groom was supported by Mr Frank Twisleton, cousin of the bridegrooifu. The two bridesmaids were the Missies Lottie and Madeline Bartlett, sisters of the bridegroom. The whole affair was a pretty and engaging one. The bride was dressed in a cream silk voile costume with Valenciennes lace and the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, the two bridesmaids being in uuu’a veiling and white picture hats. Our Huntorville correspondent who provides the report adds : “I do not profess to be an authority on the subject of feminine attire, but can authoritively report that the ‘entourage’ was all right and ‘one of the best.’ ”
