The Associated Chambers of Commerce, at a meeting in London, adopted by 40 to 30, with 31 maintaining a neutral attitude, a series of resolutions in favour of tariff reform aud regretting that the Colonial Conference failed to promote reciprocal trading with the Colonies. Since the resolutions were not carried by a two-thirds majority no action will be taken. The Chambers of Commerce with two dissentients strongly condemned the Miners’ Eight Hours Bill. ■= A large part of women’s suffering conies from headache.
