Press Association —Copyright. Received March 13, 10 a.m. Melbourne, March 13. The House agreed to the Senate’s amendments to the Quarantine Bill which was passed. The Federal Government intends to submit a proposal for a preference treaty with the New Hebrides and other Pacific Islands.
The Federal Executive approved of the regulations of the Counties Act. The articles receiving bounties are cotton, New Zealand flax, hemp, jute sisal, oil materials, uncleaned rice, rubber, raw coffee, cigars, tobacco leaf, preserved fish, dried fruits, and combed wool.
