QUEENSLAND POLITICS.
Press Association. —Copyright. Received March 12, 10.27 a.m. Brisbane, March 12. In the Assembly Mr Philp hotly attacked the Government about the events leading up to the dissolution. He thought it would show much better taste if Mr Kid-ton bad left out of the Addess-iu-roply any referrence to the Governor, and moved the deletion of such clause. Mr Kidstou said t.m urgent need for such unusual matter in the Address was because it was the first duty of the House to make certain that neither Mr Philp nor any other Premier would do again what had been done. Ministers would be loyal and respectful to the Governor, but they were also representatives of the people, and it behoved them to be loyal to and to protect "the interests of the people and to reassert the right to control the executive government. The debate was adjourned.
