WEDDING.

BAILEY—SANDILANDS

Much Interest at Feilding to-day in the wedding of Walter Alfred Jyonngest son of Mr W. A. L. Bailey, of Taonui, an Miss Gouendoleyne Arline, eldest daughter of Mr W. A. Sandilands, of Feilding. • The ceremony, which took place at the Anglican Ohurch, was conducted by the Rev. A. G. Innes-Jones. The bride was given away by her father. She was dressed in ivory liberty satin. The bodice was made ..with an empire back, finished with chiffon flohn, edged with narrow blond lace, with a full skirt, completed with deep padded hem, caught with French knots. The bride wore the usual orange blossoms and carried a beautiful bouquet made by lady friends. Her bridesmaids were Miss Yera Srandilands, and Miss Yiolet Moore, who were dressed in ivory fchiffon. taffeta. They wore wreaths of autumn leaves, and carried boquets of autumn leaves and white flowers. Mr B. IT. Sandilands, brother of the bride, “acted as best man,-'and Mr Charlie Luxmore Jas groomsman. After the ceremony a large number of guests were entertained at the wedding breakfast at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride’s cake, made.:by Mr A. J. Hart, was a four-decker, with beautiful floral decorations, a triumph of the confectioner's art. In the evening a ball was given at the residence of the bride’s parents, the room having been most tastefully decorated for the occasion. The number and quality of the presents testified in an unmistakeable manner to the popularity of the bride among her large circle of friends. During the evening the bridal couple left for their home at Stanway.
