Wriglcy, during the first half was frequently dangerous for the visitors, and eventually scored' a clever try. Tho Welshmen, however, played up well and before the interval landed a penally goal. Excellent football was shown by both teams.

In the second half the homo side made great efforts to secure a lead hue the defence of the Now ZeaInaders was superb and they failed to accomplish their purpose. The New Zealanders cu the other hand wore well held.

The Daily Nows commenting on the match says that the All Blacks were distinctly stale and admitted the fact themselves. . They found the class of football, in which they had taken part, much better than they anticipated, and were led to expect by the previous Now Zealand team. If they again come they will bring some better men and a party of at least 40. Their weakness lias been largely a matter of reserves.
