THE LYTTELTON SHOOTING CASE.
Press Assobiation. OhristchurchM, arch 9. j Norton Hall appeared at the Lyttelton Police Court this morning, ' charged with, on March. Tfch attempt- ; i iug to murder Alexander James Muir. He was further charged with resisting arrest by attempting to fire a revolver at Constable Moriarry. On the application of the police, Hall : was remanded until March l(!th.
There is very little change in the condition of the wounded man, whose chances of recovery are regarded as unfavourable. He is still lying on the couch in a room at Clark’s boarding house, where the shooting took place. Pie passed a fairly good night, and' seemed somewhat brighter and more cheerful today.
