FIRE.
Press Association. Pahiatua. Marhc 9. An outbreak of fire occurred at the Commercial Stables in occupation of Smith & Taylor this morning. The flames were extinguished by the fire brigade after considerable damage had been done. The building, which was owned by Mr Sullivan, was insured in the National Office for £2OO and the plant in the Northern Office for £7OO.
