VOTES FOR WOMEN.
A BANNER WITH A STRANGE DEVICE. Press Association.—Copyright.. Received March 8, 10.48 a.m. London, March 7. Members arriving at the House of Commons were much astonished to see flying steadily over the Parliamentary Buildings a banner inscribed “Votes for Women.” It was subsequently discovered that this gentle reminder to the legislators was suspended in the air by means of a war kite handled from the roof of a warehouse in Lambeth.
