FEILDING TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
The following is the programme of the proceedings in connection with the opening of the Feilding Technical School:—The Minister of Education will arrive on Tuesday, at 3 p.m. After being welcomed by the Mayor he will leave by motor for a visit to the Waituna district. He will be accompanied by Mr Jf. Pirani, Chairman of the Education Board, Mr E. Y. Lethbridge, M.P., and Mr E. Goodbehere, Chairman of the Technical School Committee. The party will return to the complimentary dinner which ‘is to be tendered the Minister at the Feilding Hotel, when it is hoped he will give an address. Invitations to be present at the dinner have been sent to Messrs W. J. B. Trewin, Mayor, G. O. Wheeler, Chairman of the Oroua County Council, L. W. Brown, Chairman of Pohangina County Council, S. J. Carman, Chairman of Kiwi tea County Council, J. G. Wilson, Chairman of Mauawatu County Council, and D. Braik, Chief Inspector for the Wanganui Education Board.
On Wednesday at 9 p.m., the Minister will visit the schools _ in the Feilding neighbourhood. It is hoped that it will be the Minister’s pleasure to grant these schools a holiday. At 11 to 12, Mr Fowlds will receive deputations. At 12 to 1.30 p.m., lunch; and at 1.30 to 3 p.m. is the time set aside for the opening ceremony. Rooms have been engaged for the Minister at the Feilding Hotel. There will be an exhibition of curios at the' school and a concert during the evening. ,
