FIRE.

Per Press Association. Auckland,’March 5. An eight roomed house iu Seafield View road, owned by Dr A. Patersen, and occupied by J. B. Paterseu, was totally destroyed by fire at five this morning. Mr Patersen rescued Ins wife and children with difficulty aud was himself considerably burned, aud the children slightly singed, when being carried out. Insurances: £250 on the house; £250 ou furniture (both a total loss), both in National. The loss exceeds the insurances by £3OO.
