At a meeting of the Committee of the Otago Rugby Union to-day a resolution was passed affirming the opinion that it was highly desirable that three test matches should be played between the English team and New Zealand, and urging that the New Zealand Union should so arrange the Englishmen's programme as to provide for three test matches. The Committee expressed the preparedness of the .Otago Union to forego the South Island match at Dunedin if necessary to facilitate the playing of three tests. BRITISH TOURING TEAM. Received March (5, 8.37 a.m. London, March 5. The Rugby Union team for Now Zealand numbers 28 players, including eight Internationals. A. F. Harding, Middlesex, is captain, J. McEvedy. Kent, vice-captain, and George Hammett, manager.
