Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on Marton sale : —We held our fortnightly sale on Tuesday, when a fair number of sheep were yarded. Prices showed a decided improvement on last sale, and with the exception of one pen of lambs we were successful in disposing of the whole of the yarding. We quote : —Good lambs 7s to 8s 2d, f.m. ewes 7s 2d to Ss od, cull ewes 3s od, fat ewes 12s 4d to 13s, fat and forward ewes 10s.
