TRESSIDER ON HIMSELF.
DISAGREES WITH EOGWELL. Per Press Association. Gisborne, March 4. Tresidder arrived at Gisborne today and was warmly welcomed by members of the rowing committee. Pie states that he has not yet made up liis mind whether to settle in the Dominion. Referring to the Sydney cablergam of Fogwell’s opincu, he states that it is quite incorrect. He in no way underestimated Webb’s capabilities, recognising that fie had a very hard race to row, He cousiders'he (Tressider) rowed as well as ever in his life and showed plenty of dasli but was fairly and squarely beaten by the Wanganui man.
