WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES. Per Press Association Wanganui, March 4. The ‘Weather was favourable for the final gallops this morning when a largo number of horses worked. Swimming Belt was too good for Taitoki over four furlongs run in a tick under 50sec. Taogimoaua and Moloch set off to run a mile together, but the latter would not gallop and was no good to Tangimoana, who cut out the distance m Imin 4Gssc. Marguerite did two rounds steadily, and Gold Crest was sent ten furlongs which he rattld off in 2min ISsec. Zimmerman and Master Delaval did seven furlongs in Imin 33sec. The Lark ran ten furlongs in 2miu ISsec, and is evidently in good buckle. Ballarat and Waihnka ran six furlongs in Imin 16sec, the former having the best of the go. This was the best gallop ot the mornng. Bnnyan and Gyrene did five furlongs in Imin 4sec. Maui and Afaahua jumped the schooling hurdles in good style. Others did sound work. After breakfast Waitapu did six furlongs in Imin ISsec, Waipaku doing the same distance in a second faster time. Irish Rifle ran six furlongs in Imin ISsec.
