ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Press Association. Auckland, March 3. Henry Enappman, aged sixty, unmarried, of the ketch Fanny, was found drowned in the harbour. It is persumed he fell from a boat while rowing off to the vessel. Dunedin, March 3. A young man named William Albert Terry, who resided with his parents at Eaitangata, was accidentally drowned while bathing with a companion named Middlemass at Coal Point, Kaitaugata, ;; yesterday. Middlemass felt the rush of the outgoing tide carrying him off his feet, and he called to Terry to make in for the shore. Both did so, but Terry was suddenly caught in a receding wave and carried into the breakers. Middlemass and his brother contracted a flax rope and tried to reach him, but were unsuccessful. The body was picked up five hours later.
