ATTACK ON THE SHAH.

Press Association—Copyright Teheran, February 29. Details of the attempt to assassinate the Shah show that bombs were thrown from the roof of a house iu a narrow stret.. One exploded in the air, and the other struck the ground, killing the outriders near the Shah’s unoccupied motor-car. The tribal cavalry who were escorting the Shah fled. The Shah, who occupied a'carriage at the rear returned to the palace. Twelve people were killed by the explosion. A search of the houses in the vicinity of the outrage was fruitless. News of the occurrence caused the greatest surprise iu London, as the situation in Teheran recently was quiet. Received March 2, 8.35 a.m. Teheran, March 1. * Another bomb was thrown in the streets of Teheran, and killed a passing gardener and labourer.
