POLLARD’S JUVENILE OPERA COMPANY.
That popular organisation, Pollard’s Juvenile Opera Company, will commence a return season at the Opera House on Friday, the 28th inst., and at Feilding the evening before. Their opening production will be the brilliant mnsical comedy “The isle of Bong-Bong.” It was produced for the first time in - Australasia at the Wellington Opera House, and created quite a furore of enthusiasm. The press and public both acclaim it as thelbrightest production that Mr Pollard has given us. It is said to be brimful of catchy numbers, brilliant ballets; original situations and - stage business, with gorgeous costumes set in delightful scenery. Master Bertie' Nicholson, who created such a favourable impression as one of the comic schoolboys (Blib) in “Blue--bell.” and in the name part in “His Highness the Bey,” plays the leading coraique, and is a great success.* The box plan opens at Mogridge’s on Monday next at 9 ,a.m.,‘ and for Feilding at Walker’s.
