Per Press Association. Wellington, February 17. Last year Government compulsorily acquired Carrington Estate at Carterton for the purposes of closer settlement. To-day a sitting of the Compensation Oourt is being held to determine the value of the estate and the amount to be paid by Government to the owners of the laud.
