MR MASSEY.
Press Association. Auckland, February 16. There was a gathering of over 4000 people at the Helvetia Ostrich Farm on Saturday, the occasion being a garden party tendered Mr W. F. Massey, M.P., Leader of the Opposition. when a presentation was made by his constituents of a silver salver, rose bowl, and a tea and coffee service. Mr Massey is taking an opportunity later for replying to Sir Joser’ Ward, so confined his address what he called “their very rea 1 ger” that was before the co’the struggle between Socr anti-Socialists.
