WANGANUI TRAM FAIR.

The above was continued by Messrs F. R. Jaqksori & 00. yesterday. In the Lincoln flocks Mr W. H. Wybourue again topped the market at 21 'guineas, averaging £8 7s 9d, and McGregor.Bros.’ entry made up to £ls 4s 6d, an average of £ll 12s. These prices were highly satisfactory, as also those for Romneys, the highest average for this class being £ss 4s. No stud sheep were offered yesterday, and, with regard to flock sheep, the prices were considerably lower than those ruling last year, except for very popular breeds, the cause, no doubt, being the recent drop in the price -of wool, combined with the prevalent dry season. The results of the sale were:—
