Press Association. Wellington, February^!3. A deputation from Wanganui interviewed the Hon. J. A. Millar this morning and questioned the legality of recent proceedings by which the Saturday half-holiday was declared in the borough. Mr A. D. Willis submitted that the fairest way out of the difficulty would bo to leave the issue to be settled by the ratepayers constitutionlly twelve mouths hence at the :muuicipal elections. Mr Lloyd Jones stated that the gazetting of Saturday would inflict a loss on many tradesmen.
