THE BOOM IN BUTTER.

SELLERS ASKING 150 s. Press Association.-—Copyright. , Received Feb. 11, 11.37 p.m. London, Last Night. The butter market is hardening, and sellers are asking 148 s to 150 s for the lonic’s shipment, which is due on Saturday. S A cablegram received by Joseph Nathan and Co., of Wellington, confirms the report that butter is now bringing 140 s per cwt in London. The arrival at London of the steamer lonic next week, will be looked for with much more than customary interest. Most of her cargo of butter has been shipped by factoriesfon consignment, so they will reap the full benefit of the jump in prices, should it be sustained when the lonic’s butter comes under the hammer.
