IN MEMORIAM.

In loving remembrance of John Ellis, aged 28 years (adopted sou of Mr and Mrs Dukes), who was drowned on 13th February, 1905. Interred in the Palmerston North Cemetery. My race was cropt just in my bloom ; My morning sun went down at noon : In youth and strength put not your trust. The strongest living is but dust.
