STOCK REPORT. Messrs~Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows; —A fair entry of beef, mostly light' prime ; heifers and calves, and a few pens of rough cows and steers. Beef made 21s, heifers 20s 6d, claves *i9s 6d, best bullocks £8 2s 6d to £8 7s 6d, light £5 7s 6d to £7, heifers £5 7s 6d to £5 355, cows £4 12s 6d to £5 2s 6d. Sheep: Fat ewes 13s 8d to 13s 3d, wethers 14s lOd, to 15s 7d, plain 14s sd, woolly lambs 12s 7d to 13s, shorn 11s 9d to 12s. A heavy entry of store sheep came forward. A good attendance of buyers, and the whole entry was sold under the hammer. Withers 11s Id to 12s 4d, shorn lalibs 7s Id to 7s lid, woolly Ss 4d, ctlls 5s 5d to Gs, f.m. ewes 9s ICd, c*lg 8s lid to 6s 4d, 3 year steers £3 10s, 18 months steers 39a to 365, store cows £3 10s. Messrs Abraham & Williams report on their usual fortnightly sale held at Marten on Tuesday, when, a good yarding of sheep came forward, and met with a very fair sale con-
sidering the weather'eonditions. All sheep were sold, with the exception of a portion of a line of wethers from Hawke’s Bay. Lambs sold fromSTs Id to 9s 4d, f.m. ewes 6s 2d, fat ewes 11s 3d to 13s. 850 2-tooth wethers sold at 12s, empty cows £2 10s, fat cows £3 19s to £4 2s, weaner pigs 5s to Bs.
