The Laud Board to-day resolved to srant a transfer of a Orbwn lease in defiance of the departmental ruling that by soction 35 of the new Land Act all applications to transfer must bo submitted to the Minister. The Commissioner of Crown Lands dispell tod giving the Board's decision which will probably have the effect of bringiug the matter into tho Supreme Court for the introprotation.
