KIMBOLTON LAND SALE.
At Feildiug on January Bth will be offered for sale at the Drill Hall by auction, tho estate of the Hon. J. Bryce, consisting of 2230 acres, with tlio property adjoining of tiOO acres belonging to Mr Robert Mcßeth. Thcso properties which are situated close to Kimboltou, have been subdivided into 33 farms of from 25 acres to 307 acres. Tho land was heavy bush when taken up by the present owners about thirty years ago, but tiie whole of it has been cleared aud put in grass, and 800 acres of Mr Bryce's land have been stumped and pioughed and is well fenced. A road has been put through this property under the supervision of the engineer of tho Kuvitea County Council. It is of easy grade throughout. The subdivision of tho property has boon effected in such a maimer as to give each section a supply of water. In conformation tho laud consists of flats and easv slopes, all easily drained and ploughable, and the soil is of a light loamy kind and deep, the good quality of which is undoubted. Most of that portion owned by Mr Mcßeth has been stunmed aud crops have been taken off from 90 to 100 bushels per acre. The Forest road is being extended through tho property so that each farm may have good road access. The whole of tho land to be offered is capital grass country, which keeps green long after heavier soils appear dried up. It is well situated as regards schools, post j offices, churches and stores, and tho road to Feildiug, a town which has tho best stock market in the North Island, is always in good order. There is a strong probability of a railway, -it no distaut date, being taken, if not actually on, at least very near those properties. It will be noticed by the advertisement that the terms of "sale are very easy for men of small^meaus.
