Tho allegations made against Presbyterian missionaries in tho New Hebrides by tho High Commissioner for the Western Pacific have boon answered iu a lengthy letter, which tho Foreign Missions Committee has roqcsted Mr Deakiu to forward to tho Secretary for the Colonies. The committee assert that tho missionaries have tried to strengthen tho bonds between Australia aud the Now Hebrides, and urge tho secretary for the Colonies thoroughly to investigate tho Commissioner’s charges.
