A unique entertainment in connection with tlio anniversary of the Marten Methodist Sunday School ' took place on Wednesday evening in I St. Andrew’s Hall and was very well ! attended by a most appreciative aui dienco. The- follow- : iug was the programme:—Hymn i “Jesus Lives,” by children’s choir; recitation, Ruby Patterson; piauo- ! forte solo, Maude Hawke; action ■ song “Let Us Help You,” by girls ; (encored); recitation, Enid Silby; boys’ dialogue “When I’m a Man,” (encored); coon solo “Close Your Dreamy Eyes,’-’ Myrtle Stevens (eu- ' cored) ; recitation “Helloh!” Henry Gillott; duet “Tlie Little Rag Doll,” Dorothy Sutcliffe and Zillah Miuhifle ; hyinu ‘ ‘ Like the Tramp of an Army,” by children’s choir; recitation,' Dtilco Hawke (encored); action song “Liston, Children,” by girls; song in character “The Old Brigade,” by hovs (encored); duet “Gates of the West,,’.’ hy Misses S. Mossman and I. M. Tlio Chairman interspersed appropriate remarks during the progress of the entertainment and concluded by thaukuig the parents and friends for their attendance and evident interest in the work of the school. He also complimented the Misses Carr upon the success of the evening’s programme. After the Rev. T. G.
