SHOOTING.
The Raugitikei Rifle Club opened the season ou Wednesday with ammunition prizes. Following are the scores ;
The first competition for Mr Keiller’s Clip will he fired on Wednesday. . The following team will fire against the Martou Club to commence at 1 o’clock sharp:—>A. Nicholson, J. Croudicr, G. Nicholson, J. Ransom, W. Clark, F. Rhodes, O. Broughton, F. Simpson, T. Richardson, G. Goebel. Reserves ; Messrs J. Richardson., W. Wereta, H. Mercer, R. Fryer. SAN RON RIFLE CLUB. The weekly competition practice was held at the local rifle range last Saturday afternoon and there was a very good muster, keen interest being manifested in the competition for the three trophies. Mr W. A. Lumsdeu got first leg in, W. Pearce second, and Jas. A’Oourt third. This makes two legs in for Mr A’Oourt. Scores; —
