The conditions of the match provide that scores witli handicaps are to count no higher _tban 32 at 500 and 30 at GOO yards, aud that tiiere are to he five competitions with three to count. Tiio first competition was fired last Wednesday. The light was very good but the wind was very tricky and spoilt good scores. G. Head shot exceptionally well at 500 yards, getting 34 out of 85, but unfortunately fell away at 600. There was also a record attendance. The following are the scores:—
