Ho also secured tho first in Berkshire hoars over 1.2 mouths; third in Berkshire boars under six months ; first in Berkshire? sows over IS mouths; second m Berkshire sows between nine and 13 months; second in Berkshire soyrft under six mouths; first in Tamworth sows over 13 mouths; first in Tamworth sows under six mouths ; fluid in Yorkshire sows under six mouths; first in sow with litter and first with a Devon sow in any other purebroed in Class A. . Mr Peuberthy, of Fitzherbort West, exhibited in tho Langshan poultry classes. Ho got second for a cock and also for a hen. In the selling class, his hc.u was placed He also got first for Indian Runner drake. Mr J. Bull, of Huutorville, had.a number of entries in the light horse classes. He got first- and second in tho class for pair of harness horses ■shown in buggy, aud first iu horse shown iu trap. , - NORTH OTAGO. Tho attendance was not as large as was expected. Tho entries iu all classes, with the exception of imple : meuts, were far iu excess of those of previous years. Tho show on the whole Mas a capital one. In Ayrshire cattle, Messrs W., Cowan, A. Gillies aud P. and A. Ireland were successful exhibitors. The light horses were a lino lot, In strong combing Merinos, Messrs W. Gardiner and A. McAlister; in English Leicsoters, Messrs T. S. Lit* do aud D. Grant; iu Border Leicesters. Mr T. S. Little; inShropshires, Mr B. Seth Smith ; iu Lincolns, tho New Zealand aud Australian Land Company (Moeraki), and B. Seth Smith ; iu Corricdales, J. Striugfellows’ executors aud the New Zealand and Australian Laud Company M-ero tho most successful exhibitors.
