NORTH OTAGO SHOW.

Per Press Association. Oamaru, Novemebr 21. ' Glorious weather prevails for the forty-fifth annual exhibition of North Otago A. and P. Association. The show is an important one as it marks the opening of tho now ground situated on the main north road just outside the town boundary and no effort has been spared by the officials to make it successful. Entries closed with a total of 979 against 888 last year, and this notwithstanding a marked decrease in the implement exhibits. The largest increase is in the horse section, 286 as against 319 ; draughts, hacks and hunters being specially numerous. In cattle Shorthorns have risen from 17 to 4G and sheep from 188 to 197. In order to fittingly celebrate the opening of the new ground a largo invitation luncheon is being held to-day.
