FARM LABOURERS’ DISPUTE.

Per Press Association. Christchurch, November 20. Tho hearing of the dispute between the Agricultural Labours’ Uniou aud tho farmers of the Canterbury industrial district was resumed to-day before tho Conciliation Board. _ E-. Kennedy, the orgauiser of tho Uniou, iu the course of ids evidence, .stated that the reason why lie had to appeal to the Trades Council for assistance was that the organising of the Union was hampered by the fact that farmers were intimidating _ those labourers who desired to join the Uniou. Hundreds of men who were willing to join were frightened to do so. Witness gave particulars of the causes which led to his dismissal from the different places ho was employed at. Other witnesses were examined and the hearing was adjourned till to-morrow at 9.30.
