Mr Keir HardioTih a" letter fo'Mr Watson, states that owing to Ills extended visit go India he must curtail his visit to Australasia as he wishes to bo back in time for the opening of tho House of Oommous. Ho will endeavor during his stay to see as many Labour men as possible. Ho adds:‘‘The. needs of India—l regret that my presence or absence from Australia is a matter of small imnortanoe, whereas,_ hy obtaining information concerning the people of India I may bo able to do some service to tuem on my rcturnr. ” Received November 16, 8.43 a.m. Ceylon, November 15. _ Mr Keir Harriio called at Queen's House hero, but Sir Henry McOallum, the Governor, was too busy to receive liini.
