THE ELTON COMEDY COMPANY.
The Elton Comedy Company will appear in the Drill Hall, Foildiug, on Friday and Saturday next. Oonceruug a recent production in Wanganui the Herald says:—“The company consists of all star artists, and judging by the applause given, it has taken on hero. Mr Fred Elton scored a great hit in his various characters. He’kopt the audience in roars of laughter from the time ho stopped on to the stage until ho loft it. As “Old Jones,” and in his singing of “The Washerwoman,” ho was a great success. Miss Elton also had a, good reception. As “Harry,” in “When Jones Left Homo,” she excelled herself. In the musical act Miss and Fred Elton’“showed that they were born musicians. The farmer, in her wonderful acrobat violin performance, received a great ovation, which she well deserved. Miss Winnie Rhodes was well received, her singing and dancing being a treat to listen to and to watch. Fred Meymott, in his “Magic and Mystery/” was another success. It is the brightest show possible to get.”
