In tho Legislative Council the Factories Act Amendment Bill was read a second time. The AttorneyGeneral moved the second reading of the Flour and Other Products Monopoly Prevention Bill. After debate the second reading was agreed to. Xhe bill was then committed and progress was reported after the passing of clauses 1 to 5.
