MARION TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
A meeting of the committee of the above was held Ij+sfc evening. Present: Mr J. J. Macdonald {chairman), Messrs Richardson, Little, Mossmau, Way, Dolby and the director, Mr Wilkes. Regulations for the election of technical school committees were received from the Board and reserved for further -Consideration. The Board wrote, informing the committee that there were no funds for fencing the technical school site. —The secretary was instructed to w rite to the Board to inquire wlieu the drainage of the site would' be put in hand. Later the School Committee met, The action of the chairman in giving the school a holiday on Thursday, November 14th, for Wanganui Show was approved. The headmaster reported that the attendance was improving and sickness was diminishing, The attendance in the primary school was 318 on a roll of 255 or 86 per cent, and in the secondary classes 23 on a roll of 26 or 84 per cent.
