A Now Oevolment Press Association.— Cony right. Melbourne, November 4. ■ Important dovelopements are likely to result in the event of tho Orient Company securing the mail contract. It is stated that the Company in order to identify its enterprise more closely with Australia contemplated raising the money required to build now steamers (required under tho contract) in Australia. It is also nroposed that a local Board of Directors bo appointed to manage the business.
