The executive of the Auckland Farmers’ Uuiou passed a rosoloution expressing strong disapproval of the form of the Laud Laws Amoudm -ut Bill passed by the House, especially taking exception to tho terms allowed 1. i.p. tenants to convert to freehold against witholdiug the right of purchase on reasonable terms from tenants holding laud acquired under Laud for Settlement Act. Strong, opposition was also expressed ou the present form of Endowment Bill aud regret that the Ministry were influenced by a small section of tho House who were antagonistic to rural interests.
