According to the New York Tribune, President Roosevelt’s response to an inquiry by friends, niadc it quite clear that his wish and expectation is that America’s fleet will return tri the Atlantic after two or three months’ stay in the Pacific Ocean. The announcement is interpreted to moan that the visit of Mr Taft to Tokio has led to a very welcome clearing of the air.
