ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Press Association. Avcklaxd, October 24. Norman Keir who was a week ago in partnership with Mr Thomas Poynter in a general carrying business here, committed suicide by shooting himself with a revolver in the Domain to-day. In a lotter to his landlady ho stated that business worries had necessitated his taking an extreme course, and iio also mentioned where his body would bo found. Deceased leaves a widow and child. Palmerston Nojith, October 25.

SV. Salmon, a well-known commercial traveller, died suddenly in the smoking room of the Club Hotel this morning of heart failure. Deceased had been in town all tho week and was apparently in his usual "health. This morning ho had breakfast as usual and went to the sample rooms, returning to the hotel, where he died in a few minutes.
