SHOW ITEMS.
At the fortnightly meeting of tho Wanganui Agricultural Association Mr A. O’Neill wrote asking to be allowed sole rights for holding a bnckjumping exhibition in an enclosed space on show days.—A motion by Mr EusSell, that Mr O’Neill be informed that the Association bad no ground available and therefore could not allow buckjumping, was defeated for an amendment, moved by Mr Ross, seconded by Mr Dempsey, that Mr O’Neill bo asked for further particulars as to his requirements. The Agricultural Department is to send in exhibits from the Momohaki State Farm to tho Wanganui Show. Tho sub-committee of the Wanganui Agricultural Society has reported that the ground is unsuitable for sheep dog trial, and none, is to be held at the same meeting. The sheep stewards intimated their intention of offering a trophy valued at £ls 15s as a points prize tor sheep in all purebred classes except Corriedales, tho prize to be won twice in succession' or three times at intervals.
