Per Press Association. Napiek, October 7.Percy Smith, aged 20, son of Mr F. G. Smith, carrier and forwarding agent, fell over a cliff about 40ft high, on Wednesday night, when taking a short cut on his way home from work. He was taken to the hospital in an unconscious condition, and died there this afternoon without having regained consciousness. Westpop.t, October 7. John Nicholas Berryman, miner, aged 32 years, single, committed suicide at Denniston at 1 p.m. to-day by throwing himself over the cliffs.
