As will bo seen in onr advertising columns to-day Mr H. Remnant’s purebred Clydesdale stallion, Prince Alphort, will bo at the services of breeders in the Oolytou, Foildiug aud the surrounding district. Prince Alphert is a jot black horse’, rising four years, with beautiful clean flat hone, and hair Of the best quality, clean action and lias a splendid temper. His dam Nora is by the well-known sire Superior, out of Maggie. His sire Prince of Wales, is by British Lion (270), who left the show ring an unbeaten horse in both North and South Islands. Anyone acquainted with the pedigrees and history of the ancestors of Prince Alphert cannot fail to recognise that ho has in his veins a combination of blood that would he hard to beat in any one animal.
