A Game Finish. Per Press Association —Copyright. Capetown, September 24. Col. Elliott’s troop, numbering 60, putslied Morenga. who was accompanied by 10 Hottentots on a waterless track for 48 hours. Morenga then posted himself on a kopje and opening fire at 1000 yards fought fiercely for two hours. Inspector Manders and twelve troopers rushed the position uhdef cover of fire from tile ifiihn body. Corporal Henwood was killed from a distance of 10 yards and the man who shot him was immediately killed by a trooper. Morenga was found riddled with bullets.

A German officer accompanying Col. Elliott eulogised the operation, and the Governor of German South-west Africa warmly thanked Sir W.Hely-Hutchinson, Governor of Cape Colony.
