WEDDING BELLS.

GUY-GILL.

On Wednesday, September 11th, Mr Herbert Guy and Miss Nellie Gill were united in matrimony by the Uev. .1. H. Whitp. The ceremony was conducted* in the Apiti Weslujmn Olmrch and attrasted a large attendance. The bride looked, charming in a cream silk dress, trimmed with silk insertion and lace. She wore the orthodox veil ami orange blossoms and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. -The bridesmaids wore Miss Dora Gill (sister to the bride), and Miss Lily Guy (sister to the groom.) they wore cream-figured Costume dressesjrimmod with lacing, with cream-coloured hats to match and each carried a bouquet of violets and snowdrops. The bride was given away by her father, aud the responsible position of best man was fulfilled by her oldest brother, Mr W. Gill, assisted by Mr Percy Guy. Tim wedding march was played on thw organ by’ Mias J. Matthews. Showers of confetti and rice greeted the happy couple on leaving the church. Over 00 guests assembled at the wedding breakfast, when the usual toasts were honoured. Among the many useful aud ornamental presents given were a handsome silver tea service presented "by members of the Wesleyan congregation; and an afternoon tea service given by the Sunday school children to the bride, who was for a considerable time their teacher. The wedding cake, which was quite a work of coufectiouer’s art, was made by the bride’s father. In the evening a very largo number of guests assembled in the Town Hall, when social games, songs, recitations, etc., made the time pass away merrily.
