SINN FEIN.
Its Objects Explained
Press Association—Copyright. London, September 16. _ Mr Gavin Duffy, one of Sir Gavin Duffy’s sous, interviewed by the Westminster Gazette, states that Sinn Fein desires to build up Ireland from within. It recognises that the physical force policy is not feasible, and aims at obtaining the repeal of the Union. It wants two separate parliaments under one King, and hopes to induce the Nationalist members to withdraw from Westminster, where their presence is useless. Meanwhile the Rational Assembly of 300 members will meet in Dublin and advise County Councils to found and control a national stock exchange, to organise a voluntary protection policy, and to establish a national consular service.
The Association believes that Ireland and the United States will subscribe £50,000 to further its objects.
