THE CONSTANCE CRAIG.

The owners of the barque Constance Craig, overdue at Hokiauga, wreckage from which was recently discovered, fiavo received the following telegram from Mr Courteney, Customs Oflicre at Hokiauga:— Captain Schultz, master of the barqncutiue Mary Isabel, just arrived, reports that on July 39th (? August) she sighted a vessel when off Cape Maria Van Diemau very much like tho Constance Craig. She was then ten miles west-south-west from the cape. The wind was fresh east-sonth-oast. The vessel, which the captain is piretty well sure was the Constance Craig, was in ballast and came round the cape and hauled sharp on the wind, shortening sail at dusk.” The mate of the Mary Isabel confirms the master’s statement.
