THE McINTYRE CASE.
Plea ot Guilty.

Duncan Cunningham Mclntyre, late Director of Exhibits at the New Zealand International Exhibition, appeared at tha Magistrate’s Court this morning on a number of charges, viz., the thett of £2l bs on October Ist, 1006; the theft of £35 on December 3rd, 1906;. the theft of £l2 on October 27th, 1906 ; and the theft of £l9 10s on November 21st, 1906. In regard to these charges it was alleged that the monies were the property of His Majesty. Two other charges were also laid, viz., that on April 9th, the accused obtained from Frank A. Cook the sum of £5, and from Aitken and lioberts the sum of £7 by means of valueless cheques. . , , The accused pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentenced on all four charges to which he had pleaded guilty. Bail was allowed on the same conditions as those formerly imposed, viz., accused’s own recognisance of £IOO and a surety of £IOO. _____
